Honey and Ants

Myths that circulate in society is if the original will not be mobbed honey ants. Conversely, if false then the honey will be surrounded by ants.

Is this true?
Our farmers knew that honey is not surrounded by ants is a myth.

Actually the ants are a threat to our farmers, they often invade the nest contains honey and it was very difficult in the face by a guard bees because of the size of a very small ants.

If so how can it not be mobbed honey ants?
Ants do not like honey for some reason, this has to be one of learning for us who were investigating the honey.

1. The ants will not infest honey has a high alcohol content.
Raw honey has two different types, some have a high alcohol content there is also low. It depends on the environment, the old flower honey is consumed and stored. For honey that has a high alcohol content, ants usually just crowded around a while and then leave.

2. Processed honey ants swarm that has a mixture of methylated spirits, non-food materials or other hazardous materials.
The next test we have done is against the processed honey, processed honey which has a mix of harmless or safe to eat will still be surrounded by ants, but honey is processed that have a mix of non-food dangerous as spirits and synthetic alcohol would immediately shunned by ants.

3. Ants do not occupy stale honey.
For raw honey will not be stale, but deteriorated after less than 10 years (depending on the type and quality of honey) is different from the processed honey has ended and will be stale after about 1 year. If ants will occupy stale honey processed.

The result: the ants are not a good benchmark authenticity of honey, but can be used as a benchmark for certain things that we wrote above.
Hopefully this information is useful for us all,
